Villa Argentina is a small, family-run hotel where it is easy to feel at home.
One big family
Villa Argentina is managed by Francesco, together with his parents, Ondina and Gian Carlo Garibotto.
Family management continues in the kitchen, where we find chef Paolo, the brother of Signora Ondina, with his wife Luana in the dining room.

The history
Villa Argentina was born in 1908 as the manor house of the Beniscelli family, a couple from Moneglia who had emigrated to Argentina at the end of the nineteenth century, like many Ligurians.
The Beniscelli family, on returning to their homeland, built their villa and decided to name it after the great South American country that had changed their lives.
Villa Argentina was transformed after the war into a much-loved seaside pension, led by the indomitable Flora Beniscelli.
Signora Ondina came to work at the pension in the 1960s and has never left since. A few decades later, the Beniscelli family, by then elderly, handed over the management and then the villa itself to the Garibotto family that had meanwhile formed.
The new Villa Argentina
At the beginning of the new millennium, Francesco and family decided to renovate the villa completely, preserving its traditional intimate and family atmosphere and some symbolic elements.
An antique Argentine barometer, a vintage mirror, the marble staircase, and the classic garden statues remain to bear witness to the history of Villa Argentina, immersed in a cheerful and modern setting.
